More On The Chris Jericho House Show Incident

According to a fan in attendance at yesterday's Raw house show in Shreveport, Louisiana, WWE  star Chris Jericho took a sign from a fan and ripped it up. Apparently it was the same kid that threw the drink into the ring, causing Jericho to ask that the fan be removed from the arena.

Linda McMahon On The Sean Hannity Show Tonight

Linda McMahon will be a guest on The Sean Hannity Show tonight on the FOX News Channel at 9 PM/8 CT. McMahon will be appearing with Marco Rubio who is running for US Senate out of Florida.

Steve Austin To Return To NBC's "Chuck"

It was announced this weekend at the San Diego Comic Con that WWE Former Steve Austin will be appearing once again on the NBC series "Chuck". Austin will play the role of secret agent Hugo Panzer.

Last Thursday's edition of WWE Superstars did a 0.65 cable rating with 648,000 viewers. The replay did a 0.26 cable rating with 248,000 viewers.

ericho's Game Show Struggles

Tuesday night's "Downfall" featuring Chris Jericho as host did a 1.2 broadcast rating with 3,370,000 viewers on ABC. Despite struggling in the ratings, Jericho has indicated ABC plans to film more episodes for the fall.

Bret Hart is getting married Saturday in Calgary. His fiancee, Stephanie Washington, is 28-years-old and will be his third wife.

Ricky Steamboat Originally Planned For Team Cena

There were plans for Ricky Steamboat to be on Team Cena at SummerSlam against The Nexus, however, that obviously changed due to his medical condition.

Speaking of Team Cena, Bret Hart was a late addition to the team and his return was kept secret by WWE. He isn't expected to bump in the match.

More On Mark Henry's Shoulder Injury

The injury to Mark Henry is his left shoulder. He wasn't ready to take the bump in Wade Barrett's Wasteland finisher but Barrett dropped him in fear of not being able to hold it. Henry landed very awkwardly on the shoulder. Barrett could have came out much worse as well.

Triple H Out Until Late 2010

Dave Meltzer is reporting Triple H underwent surgery for a torn triceps earlier this month. The injury is expected to keep him out until close to the end of the year. Meltzer reports he'll be out anywhere from late October to December.

Triple H tried to keep the surgery quiet but it was leaked by Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Dirk Hayhurst.

WrestlingNewsWorld.com later learned the surgery was to repair a torn tendon in his arm but it wasn't specified whether it was a torn tendon in his biceps or triceps. As I noted today in Ask WNW, the surgery was expected to delay his return which was at one point set for SummerSlam next month. Hunter is also suffering from a neck injury.

Richard Reacts: If this report is accurate, which it seems to be, take Triple H out of the conversation to be revealed as Raw's General Manager.

When Smackdown moves to Syfy, do you think the ratings will go up, stay the same or go down?

The actual number will probably be higher due to the difference between broadcast ratings and cable ratings. As for the number of viewers, it will probably remain about the same. SyFy is more stable of a network than MyNetworkTV but it is still a cable network. WWE looks at the change as an upgrade as it will continue to strengthen their relationship with NBC Universal.

Do you see Triple H possibly returning at the end of the Team Cena vs. The Nexus match, and joining The Nexus?

Several readers have sent in their speculation regarding the return of Triple H. Some think he'll be revealed as the Raw General Manager while others think he'll be involved in The Nexus angle. To be honest, I have not heard anything new about Hunter's return other than will be delayed because of arm surgery. He was removed from an updated WWE SummerSlam poster which indicates me there are no current plans for him to be on the show. If I find out anything else, I'll be sure and post it.

Does WWE really have nobody else to join John Cena? Edge and Chris Jericho are no-brainers. John Morrison is an up and comer and R-Truth is very over, but what justification can they give for picking The Great Khali over Evan Bourne? Even Bret Hart makes more sense than Khali.

I also felt like Evan Bourne would fit on Team Cena than The Great Khali. I actually cringed when The Great Khali was announced as a member. We can only hope there are other plans for Evan Bourne as he is in the midst of the biggest push of his career. Hopefully his push is still ongoing and hasn't died already.

With the unexpected success of the NXT Season 1 rookies, aka the Nexus, what do you see as the future for the Season 2 rookies? I mean surely you can't have them make a group and copy Nexus. It would seem that the Nexus has really put the pressure on the Season 2 competitors.

I haven't heard of the plans but I would expect them to be different from Season 1. The creation of The Nexus was something the company tried and it worked. When it got over and boosted ratings, WWE went with it. I've been told since the beginning that Season 2 is not a talented as Season 1 but I still look for most everyone to find spots on either Raw or Smackdown.

Christian and Matt Hardy are two guys WWE fans seem to care about. WWE seems to acknowledge that, from what we saw in their build up to MITB. After the PPV, what are the plans for these two? Are they going to feud with each other? Is there any talk within the company of elevating one of them to main event status?

WWE teased dissension between Christian and Matt Hardy at last night's Smackdown taping. I don't want to write more to keep from spoiling the show, but a feud seems likely. However, I think both are reserved to the mid-card on Smackdown for now.

Dark Main Event Result From Little Rock, Arkansas

Following this week's edition of WWE SmackDown at the Verizon Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas, Kane beat Big Show in a steel cage match. Kane got the win by escaping the cage.
