From the moment he was drafted to Monday Night Raw, Chris Jericho has been plotting and scheming for a path toward championship gold. He just may have found it when he teamed up with his fellow egotist, The Miz.
After weeks of trash talk and underhanded attacks, The “Screaming Egos” will finally get an opportunity to capture the Unified Tag Team Titles against reigning champions The Hart Dynasty.
The bout was arranged after Jericho managed to defeat The Hart Dynasty’s David Hart Smith in singles competition. On the same evening, however, Smith’s partner Tyson Kidd evened the score when he notched a win against Miz in a second singles match. Both outcomes serve as an indication that these teams appear evenly matched. However, while both Jericho and Miz have held the Unified Tag Team Titles before, they have not held them while teaming together.
The Unified Tag Team Champions carry a storied history and lineage of Superstars in their corner. But will a remarkable bloodline really be enough for Hart Smith & Kidd to overcome the experience and win-at-all-cost attitude of Jericho and Miz?
